How fast you will gain muscle and see changes in your body is extremely related to what you eat and what kind of exercises you practice. We all know that doing any kind of exercise can benefit not only our mind but also our body. To ensure the best results a combination of exercise and a diet plan fueled with protein is required. If you want to know what foods to include in your diet check the options we chose to help you to get stronger and fitter quickly.

Eggs

If you want a food that is low in calories and high in protein, eggs are an excellent option. This food is great for muscle repair and is a highly recommended post-workout snack to fuel your body with plenty of protein and minerals to repair and recover your muscles after a hard session at the gym.

Chicken breast

Chicken is one of the best foods if you are working out a lot and need a great source of protein that is very low in fat. Chicken breast will help you with weight loss because it contains a high amount of protein, with approximately 30g of protein for every 100g of chicken. Besides that chicken is a relatively cheap option and you can use it in a variety of meals, so you can change your menu to make your meals more exciting.

Sweet and white potatoes

Sweet potato is usually considered a healthier option than white potatoes, but actually both are great sources of fiber and carbohydrates and will give you energy for the days that you have intense workouts. While white potato contains higher amounts of potassium sweet potatoes have a great number of antioxidants and both are beneficial for your diet if consumed in the right quantities.

Broccoli

If you want to add more vegetables to your diet, broccoli is the best choice. This food is proven to be a powerful antioxidant, rich in fiber, and helps to fight premature aging. Another great reason to include broccoli in your diet is that eating broccoli every day helps people who suffer from constipation.

Almonds

Almonds are regarded by many as one of the healthiest foods available especially if you compare them with other nuts as almonds are relatively low in calories and offer more calcium than any other nut. They are also rich in vitamin E which helps to fight heart conditions and inflammation.

Pineapple

I think that pineapple is incredibly underrated and that people forget to include this fruit in their diet far too often. Pineapple is a fruit that is rich in anti-inflammatory properties and because of this it is great in recovering from soreness and should be included every day as a natural food to help in your post-workout recovery process.

Salmon

Salmon provides many healthy fatty acids that our body is not able to produce and for that reason, this fish is highly praised and considered essential in your nutrition. Many studies have shown that the consumption of salmon regularly increases the amount of omega 3 in our blood, thereby decreasing the amount of omega 6 and this combination creates a balance in our system, resulting in a healthier heart. Salmon is also a great source of protein to help with your diet and weight loss.

If you want to see changes in your body and your health, you can reach your goals easily if you have the required discipline and willpower. While much of that willpower and discipline are required in the gym, more is needed in the kitchen. We have shown some of the best foods that you can include as part of your diet and if you add these to your regular meals and combine with plenty of water and a regular exercise regime we are certain that you will see some fantastic results.
