Many foods that we give our children, such as instant meals, are not the healthiest. It is essential that they get as many vitamins as possible. Although children may not seem to be fans of healthy food, there are so many different kinds that you can offer them, and who knows what they may end up liking.
Fruit
Fruit provides enough vitamins, minerals, and fiber to keep your child healthy. It’s best if you provide them with multiple types. For example, make a delicious fruit salad with berries, melon, and citrus fruits. This way, they get antioxidants, vitamin C, and vitamin A.
Greek yogurt
Greek yogurt is full of useful bacteria that help stimulate digestion. Furthermore, it has less sugar and more protein than regular yogurt. Make it tastier with a dash of honey or fresh fruit, and garnish with granola seeds. Nice, beautiful, healthy, and delicious.
Black beans
Black beans, just like soybeans, are an excellent source of calcium and proteins. They also contain fiber, which will keep your child full for longer. Are you cooking chili for dinner? Add black beans.
Cocoa
If none of the above items work with your children, this one certainly will. Children love to hear that cocoa is healthy. In fact, the concentrations of flavonoids in cocoa powder can even do wonders for our hearts. Just make sure that the cocoa product contains at least 70% cocoa.
